A daily word game in the style of Wordle, set in letterpress type. Five letters, six guesses, and one word a day chosen by the date so everyone plays the same puzzle. Tiles are wooden type blocks that stamp down one at a time as a guess is revealed, vermilion ink for a hit, ochre for a letter in the wrong place, a faint impression for a miss, so the states differ by shape as well as colour. Invalid words shake, a win makes the row rise, and the whole thing lives on paper. No sign-in, no database, no third-party services and no API keys: the game works the moment the page loads. Stats and streaks stay in the browser: played, win rate, current and best streak, and a guess distribution drawn as ink bars, with a countdown to the next word. Share copies a plain-text grid using ■ ◆ · with the puzzle number and score, no emoji. Two editable word lists: about 500 everyday answers and about 8,600 accepted guesses from the public-domain ENABLE list. Swap the answers for your own vocabulary to make a word game for a brand, a newsletter or a classroom, and set the epoch date so your first puzzle is number zero. The daily word survives daylight-saving changes and rolls over at local midnight. Everything else a cloner would change lives in one content file: the brand, the rules, every string including the six win lines, and the template links. Alfa Slab One and Libre Franklin, six colour tokens, checked at 375px and 320px with everything visible without scrolling. Includes an About this template page covering what is inside, how to customise it and a going live checklist. Sorts, the demo brand, is fictional.
