A niche directory template you can point at any subject: listings on a map and in a list, search and filters, a public submit form with admin approval, claim requests, featured listings and an admin page. The demo is a field guide to wild swimming spots in the North of England, with index cards, serial numbers, rubber-stamp category marks and numbered pins in five category colours on a greyscale map. The map runs on Leaflet with OpenStreetMap tiles, so there is no Google or Mapbox key. Submitters drop a pin instead of typing an address, so there is no geocoding service either. Visitors browse by search, category, features and sort, can turn on Near me for distances, and can share a filtered view because the filters live in the URL. Every listing has its own page with a directions link, a mini map, the three nearest spots and a claim form. Two Base44 entities are readable and editable only by admins. The public reads approved listings through a function that strips out submitter details, and every public write goes through a function with validation and a hidden honeypot. The admin page has a queue where you can nudge a submission's pin before approving it, full editing with photo upload, claims with a resolved tick, demo data controls, demo photo generation with Base44's own image generator, and CSV exports. The account that clones the app is the admin. Everything a cloner would change lives in one content file: the brand, the word for a listing, the categories and their colours, the tags, map settings, every string and the seed. Barlow Condensed and Public Sans, checked at 375px with a List and Map toggle on phones. Includes an About this template page covering what is inside, how to customise it and a going live checklist. The demo spots and photos are fictional, and the About page says so.
